Dany Meloul

Executive Vice-President, Radio-Canada

Dany Meloul was appointed Executive Vice-President of Radio-Canada in January 2024. She had been serving in this position in an acting capacity since October 2023. In this role, she oversees all of the public broadcaster’s French-language programming services, including ICI RADIO-CANADA TÉLÉ, ICI ARTV, ICI EXPLORA, ICI RDI, ICI PREMIÈRE, ICI MUSIQUE, ICI TOU.TV, Radio-Canada.ca, as well as the other digital and mobile offerings.


Prior to her appointment, Dany had served as General Manager of Radio-Canada Television since October 2019.


With her long background in the Quebec media industry, she has a deep understanding of the current landscape where business models are being challenged by the competition of digital giants and the changing habits of French-speaking audiences.


Previously, she held the positions of Vice President Programming, for French-language television at Bell Media; Deputy Chief Legal Officer at Bell Media; and Vice President, Legal, Regulatory Affairs and Affiliate Relations, for Astral TV channels. Earlier in her career, she worked as Director and Chief Legal Officer at Transcontinental Inc. and as Senior Adviser for Alcan Inc. in Canada and the United States. Dany Meloul is a member of the Quebec and New York bars and has her ICD.D/IAS.A designation from McGill University–Rotman School of Management.
