Linnea Rasmus

Linnea Rasmus is a news producer at the Finnish broadcasting company Yle. Currently, she's working as the editor-in-chief for all Sámi language content at Yle. Yle Sápmi's newsroom is located in Inari, northern Finland. She is from Utsjoki in the Deatnu valley, which is known for its wild Atlantic salmon and rich Sámi culture. She grew up surrounded by the Northern Sámi language but didn’t learn the language as a child. As an adult, she reclaimed her father’s and grandparents’ mother tongue, which is now her main working language.
